February — the littlest month in number of days, but full of big events. Did you know it’s the only month that can pass with no full moon? And that will happen this year…
Next, all month is Black History Month, true since 1926. Each year has its own theme and this year we recognize in particular the contributions of African Americans in times of war, and also marking the one hundredth anniversary of the end of World War I.
February 2 is Ground Hog Day. Will Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog) see his shadow when he ventures up out of his burrow? If so there will supposedly be another six weeks of winter, otherwise Spring comes soon! Tune in early to see which way it goes — it’s become quite an event for morning TV…
And — just two days after that big event it’s finally time for the Super Bowl. And once again Tom Brady and the Patriots will be on your screen! To the delight of fans and the chagrin of those who’d like to see that team lose. We’ll see if the Eagles can pull it off! Tempted to bet on the game?
